The 2014 SEMA show delivers some insane American muscle with a car called “Recoil.” It’s a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle with 980 horsepower and an interior that makes me feel like having a fiesta de salchicha en mis pantalones.
Ringbrothers, the insane guys that built the car call it a “street capable track car.” Nice.
A Whipple-supercharged Wegner Motorsports LS7 with a Holley Fuel Injection System, an Aeromotive fuel cell and pump, and Flowmaster mufflers provides power. And power is transmitted to the wheels via a reworked Tremec T56 Magnum transmission.
The interior may be even better than all that power though, it’s all hand-fabricated and features five-point racing harness seats, a Racepak gauge cluster, and lots of artfully applied carbon fiber. It looks like the cockpit of a fighter jet.
I want this car. BRB out for Lotto ticket.
