One of my least favorite commercials of the year. It’s just so painfully stupid, but apparently someone in Brooklyn tried to actually go for a drive on top of a train.
Police were on the hunt for the driver of an SUV who fled the scene after crashing through a fence in Brooklyn Wednesday morning and landing atop a Q train, officials said.
The out-of-control Nissan careened onto the sidewalk and slammed a barrier at East 16th St. and Albemarle Rd., ramping onto the passing southbound train at 4:53 a.m., a transit source said.
The front passenger-side wheel of the SUV was wedged between two of the train cars, which were at street-level, said a 25-year-old woman who snapped a photo of the bizarre scene.
