Kyle Creek started Sugar Steak Apparel as a form of fashion rebellion.  He wanted to counteract the “affliction” of overly macho, predictable, and all-too-common attire in our society.

While attending college he began designing fun, unique, often colorful and stylish shirts that he wanted to wear.  He had a feeling other might dig his style so he decided to start an apparel line. After some trial and error he eventually found the vibe he was looking for and Sugar Steak Apparel was born.

Now, I must admit that when I hear the phrase “Sugar Steak” the korean restaurant down the street is the first thing to come to mind but at the time it was unknown to Kyle that Sugar Steak was the name of an actual recipe.  He had simply fallen in love with the name because it was kinda crazy.  And honestly, it works.

With a solid name and a fresh vibe, Kyle began sketching up design after design, most of which stick true to the name and have something sweet and something meat.
