Wild Card weekend will be a great weekend for football. Saturday, January 7th the Houston Texans will take on Cincinnati and the not-talked-about-enough-because-of-Tebow, Andy Dalton.  The Saints will host the Lions later in the day.  Sunday sees Atlanta at New York, followed by Pittsburgh at Denver.

In week two of the playoffs, the Packers and Patriots will face the lowest remaining seed, and the 49ers and Ravens will get the leftovers.

Here’s what I see happening:

NFC

Lions aren’t beating the Saints in the Superdome, period. Not happening. Saints are clearly firing on all cylinders and their defense is getting better by the week.  Atlanta will play Giants well, but Eli Manning should have no issues edging out the Falcons’ defense. Giants win.

The Giants, feeling strong off their win will go to Green Bay and upset the Packers. The Saints will go to San Francisco and Alex Smith will put up some horrible numbers. Saints win the right to host the NFC Championship game at the Superdome, which they win and they return to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years.

AFC

Cincinnati easily kills off a battered and bruised Houston squad. Arian Foster is sure to have a great game, but the T.J. Yates will feel the playoff pressure and he won’t respond as well as Andy Dalton will, going home to Texas. Pittsburgh will win in Denver – even on the off chance Tebow is a proficient passer for the game, he won’t have a wide receiver who capable of catching anything — the game will likely be closer than it should be but Pitt comes out on top.

Pittsburgh goes to New England and gives Brady the stuff of his nightmares…repeatedly. Another Pittsburgh win. With two weeks to rest Baltimore handles Cincinnati and hosts Pittsburgh for the AFC Championship. This is where it gets sticky, the Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh matchup is nearly impossible to call.  I give it to Pittsburgh.

In the video above you get a glimpse of Burton Team snowboarder Charles Reid attempting a FS 2160 – 2160 as in six full rotations – while at Sun Valley last spring. He easily completed a 1440 but the 21-year-old French Canadian doesn’t quite land six, but it’s painfully close. Based solely on the number of background checks performed against the NICS database so far this month, the FBI says that more Americans purchased firearms in December than any other month in history. As in ever. Gun dealers made an incredible 1,534,414 NICS inquiries since December 1 – and the month isn’t even over yet. Oh and in case you were wondering, the previous record was just set last month.

Is there some planned uprising I haven’t heard about? NDAA and SOPA pushing people over the edge?

I don’t watch FPS Russia videos for the guns and explosions. Nope, I watch them because one of these days this guy will fuck up and the outcome is going to be too interesting to not watch.
