French daredevil driver and rally racer Guerlain Chicherit’s Guinness World Record jump attempt aiming to surpass Tanner Foust’s 332-foot record with a 360-foot jump in a modified MINI Countryman rally car did not go as planned to state things lightly.
The jump, which took place Sunday, March 16, started well enough, with plenty of distance. But the landing was a different story.
Fortunately he emerged from the MINI under his own power and has since been cleared by a precautionary MRI. His wherewithal during the crash is really something to behold, pulling those arms in and keeping his head down. Pretty amazing stuff.
