Toy company “in icons” is set to sell a Steve Jobs action figure that is so accurately detailed, it will most likely give you nightmares. The figure will cost you a startling $99.99 so if the price doesn’t scare you the figure itself certainly willl, and is set to ship at the end of February.

It’s doubtful that the action figure will even see the light of day, since it’s not an authorized product.  Regardless, this thing is impressively creept.

Here’s all of the features and add-ons that will come with the Steve Jobs 12″ collectible figure.

-One realistic head sculpt & Two pairs of glasses

With a top speed of over 100 mph and a 0-60 time of just 2.3 seconds, the Traxxas XO-1 is probably on many a dudes Christmas list. It may only be recommended for experts racing on a closed course, but I’d love to whip one in a parking lot too.

The Traxxas XO-1 comes with a set of 5000mAh lithium-ion polymer batteries on and is capable of speeds that can literally turn it into a deadly missile, but the long list of precautions that come with the XO-1 only make me want it more:

It must only be driven at its top speed on a closed course such as a racetrack or drag strip where there are safety barricades and pedestrian access controls. Operating the XO-1 in a careless, unsafe manner, without adequate care and preparation, can result in collisions with catastrophic consequences such as serious injury or death. Know your limits. Be honest with yourself about your true ability and be certain you have a location where you can safely run the model. The XO-1 contains LiPo batteries. LiPo batteries have a severe risk of fire and injury if they are improperly handled, abused, or misused.

To even operate the RC car at its top speed, you need to download a special app to your iPhone or iPod Touch which docks to the included pistol grip remote and lets you ‘unlock’ that functionality. The only thing wrong with this Lego X-Wing is that it doesn’t come out until 2012.

What’s the longest you’ve ever gotten a paper airplane to stay in the air? If you’re like me, maybe a couple of seconds.  Want to go for 10, maybe even 20 seconds?  You’ve gotta juice.

Just lay the electric paper airplane conversion kit down the middle fold of your plane with the prop at the back and hold the little battery pack up to the motor for twenty seconds and you’re charged and ready to set some records – well records with an asterisk by them anyway.

The motor will run for thirty seconds per charge but it won’t help you in the steering department, so it’s up to you to find a place that’s wall-free enough to support that kind of flight time.  You can pick up an electric paper airplane conversion kit for yourself for $20.

Do they play with Legos on the commune? I’m not sure.  One thing I am sure of, is that you don’t have to be a hippie to love the hippie inspired Lego VW Camper Van ($120). The model is a painstaking recreation of the T1 Camper (hippie van) from 1962.  It’s a monster at 1,322-pieces, but that’s because the set includes details like the flat-four VW boxer engine above the rear axle, a pop-up roof, opening doors, a rounded roof and window frames, and an authentic interior including a sink, a bench that converts into a bed, a folding dinette table, an opening cupboard, a commune-inspired color scheme, a lava lamp, and a t-shirt in the window that says “Make Lego models, not war.”  Sorry Star Wars fans this is the best Lego model ever made.

Those little indoor helicopters are tons of fun, but the crappy little controllers they come with seriously suck. The Griffin Helo TC ($50; Available this Fall) overcomes this major limitation by letting you fly the metal and polycarbonate heli with your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad as the controller — using on-screen or Tilt-to-Fly controls.  The chopper will run for up to 6 to 8 minutes per charge and can be charged from any USB power source.  Plus you can save up to three flight plans in memory.

Jet pack lies pretty high on my, “list of awesome things I need to one day own.”  But, all the flames, explosive gas, etc… are more than a bit frightening.  Looks like with the help of Jetlev my dreams may be coming to fruition with water instead of jet fuel.

The Intimidator Puzzle is composed of over 125 pieces made from brass, bronze, copper, aluminum, magnesium and steel. Once disassembled, about 20 of the pieces can be recombined to make a functioning single-shot pistol.
